The Electro-Technic 583518 hand-held Tesla coil has an adjustable voltage output from 20,000 to 50,000 volts for lighting spectrum tubes and fluorescent bulbs in classroom demonstrations. It has a 14" overall length and a 2.5" diameter. The high voltage coil accepts 115V AC 50/60Hz input power and has an 8' power cord. The voltage control knob is not an off switch and the Tesla coil is for intermittent use of less than 10 minutes at a time.
